Alexander G. Schauss, Ph.D., is the lead scientist and director of natural and medicinal products research for AIBMR. Dr. Schauss has studied nutrition and botanical medicine for more than 30 years and has been the author/co-author of upwards of 100 scientific papers in a diverse range of journals, and recently completed his twelfth book.

Dr. Sandy Schwartz, CEO of Smith Naturals, www.smithnat.com, has 30 years of experience in nutritional research, therapeutics & alternative healing.  Highlights of his career include eight years of service as the Dietetic Consultant to the US Army Surgeon General in Washington, D.C. and his role as co-founder of The Atkins Center for Holistic Medicine in NYC with Robert Atkins.  Dr. Schwartz is credited with the design of numerous herbal & nutritional products, first developed for his private practice, where he treated more than 10,000 patients.
